Animal Crossing Ahead v5.0
Posted by Chrono on February 2, 2009 @ 4:40 PM EST
It has been a while coming... and here it is:

axa-cityfolk.com

We've put up a lot of new content regarding all the different parts of the latest Animal Crossing, so check it out and let us know what you think of it. If you've got ideas for additional information, let us know that as well... we're always looking for more stuff to put up.

Don't worry, animalxing.com and it's content won't be going away. We're planning on merging the sites together as we get the time to convert everything to the new layout.

Animal Crossing: City Folk and Let's Go to the City codes
Posted by ZimsWhims on December 26, 2008 @ 11:51 AM EST
Remember you can check out our AXA chatroom and try to exchange friend codes there. The link is on the right side of this page next to Resetti. The room is a general chat room so not everyone will be wanting to exchange codes, but it can be a great place while the forums are done. Please note that our same rules apply in the chatroom as they do on the forums.

First Review of AC:CF
Posted by ZimsWhims on November 10, 2008 @ 8:42 PM EST
The first review of Animal Crossing: City folk is out.

This is WiiWii website.

"Surprisingly, the first verdict doesn't come from one of the official Nintendo mags, but unofficial UK-based publication NRevolution - the latest issue of which dropped onto subscribers' doormats this morning. It gets 9/10, with the review concluding that it's a lovely game for the right people. It may not appeal to more hardcore gamers, but for anyone else it's excellent.."

Thanks to BOB IS AWESOME for finding this information.

Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City Rated for Australia
Posted by shurst2004 on September 12, 2008 @ 7:43 AM EST
Today, the Australian Office of Film and Literature Classification (the OFLC) gave Animal Crossing: Let's Go to the City a rating of "G" (general).

Obviously, the big news here is not the rating, but that the name has changed for Australia, and, assumedly, all PAL regions.

The game has yet to be rated by the ESRB, so we do not yet know if this is a name change for everyone or just PAL regions.

City Folk Box Art and Release Date Change?
Posted by shurst2004 on September 4, 2008 @ 9:07 PM EST
The box art for Animal Crossing: City Folk has been discovered on GameFly's website, and can be viewed by clicking here!

Also, while searching some game websites today, I noticed that many now list City Folk as having a release date of November 10th, 2008.

Officially, the date has never been announced (even though it was written as November 16th in Nintendo's E3 press release).

When we receive confirmation of a release date, we'll let you know!

Happy Birthday AXA!
Posted by shurst2004 on August 18, 2008 @ 6:34 PM EST
Today is the 6th anniversary of AXA! Although the forums were started on June 1, 2002, the website was not released until August 18, 2002.

Happy birthday to this website! We'd get a cake, but we're afraid all the candles will set off the sprinklers!

City Folk Releases November 3rd?
Posted by shurst2004 on August 11, 2008 @ 10:40 PM EST
If IGN's release date calendar and Gamestop's listing for Animal Crossing: City Folk are to be believed, it is probable that AC:CF will release on the 3rd of November, and not the 16th.

Let's keep our fingers crossed! If we can get official confirmation, the countdown clock will be changed to reflect the earlier date.
