Look around your town for a pink turkey that will be hiding behind a house, tree or sign, he is quite easy to find as he will peep from behind where he is hiding. This is Franklin. When you talk to Franklin he will say he received a letter from the Mayor inviting him to be the main guest at the annual Harvest Festival and that he could see in the letter that ‘dish’ was erased and replaced by ‘guest’. He will tell you that the Mayor has knives and forks and that they have to go but it is too dangerous for him to show his face. Franklin will then ask you to get the knife and fork from Tortimer.

Go to the town hall and you will see Tortimer, talk to him and he will give you a knife and fork. Franklin will be back where you last saw him so go to him and give him the knife and fork and he will give you a piece of Harvest Furniture. Go back to Tortimer, he will give you another knife and fork and ask you to deliver them to a certain villager, but do not do this, instead, find Franklin again. He will now have moved from his original spot, so you need to look around town and find him. When you find him, give him the knife and fork and he will give you another piece of Harvest Furniture, continue with this sequence until you have all the pieces of Harvest Furniture.

When you have received knives and forks for all of your villagers, Tortimer will say that he must have forgotten to give you some and will still give you more knives and forks each time you speak to him.


Tip
If you are finding it difficult to locate Franklin you can give your knife and fork to a villager who will tell you that a ‘suspicious character’ was seen near a house or landmark. He will often be hiding behind trees.

Play this festival with friends over wifi. Divide up areas to search to decrease the time needed to find him and then tell your friends the location too. Franklin will not move from his spot until he is left alone in an acre with no other player in his view so all players can receive an item each time he is found if he is kept in view by one of the players.

If playing with friends, pool your furniture and share out at the end to limit the number of duplicates you get.
