The Diary of a DS-Addicted Turtle
January 3rd, 2006 Dear Diary, Well, it was a busy end to 2005, but I finally have time to sit down and write properly. I've been having lots of fun playing Animal Crossing: Wild World. I have lots of online friends and we visit all the time. It's nice to have someone to play with other than Bartlett. (Bartlett isn't allowed to play the game until I've gotten the golden watering can, else she'll trample ALL my flowers and I'll never get one!) Although, I've noticed that I've been wi-fing so much lately that I haven't paid very much attention to my villagers. A bunch have moved in and moved out since the time I last wrote. Apparently that Hugh's been talking behind my back. He's since moved to a town called Nutacre. Guess what, Hugh? You smell. Yeah, that's right--YOU SMELL. I write for a big Animal Crossing site. You? You're a small-town pig with a serious chip on your shoulder. I'm far too important a turtle to visit you EVERY day. Yeesh.
Anjou Playing the DS Anyway, last time I wrote I only showed you the outside of the house and promised that I'd show more of the interior. Unfortunately, the roof is still that wretched pink color (I'll be changing that as soon as Jess isn't paying attention, heh heh) but the inside SO huge that I feel like I'm living in a mansion! There's three rooms on the ground floor and two floors above that. My absolutely favorite room in the house at the moment is the kitchen. There are so many fun things to play with in there. I have a blender, a coffee machine, a microwave... a blender... a light ...a blender... No, I don't play with the blender. I only operate it in a completely professional manner. They're good for making milkshakes, silly! Ever try a Reptomin milkshake? Yeah, yeah, great stuff. You just need some milk, some Terra Fauna brand Reptomin turtle sticks... maybe some chocolate chip ice cream to add a bit of pizzazz... It's a shame, though. I jut can't get that silly Brewster to whip one up at the cafe. No loss, I guess. I have a feeling he'd use pidgeon's milk anyway. Yuck.
The Kitchen Wow, was I babbling again? Well, right, the house. It's weird having to share a house with someone else. Whenever I'm away from the game for too long, Jess redoes the interior the way she likes it. It's not bad sometimes, but every now and then she puts something silly like a Papa Panda smack dab in the middle of the living room. Honestly, I think the Animal Crossing Forums strain her a bit. She's been acting a bit...well, loopy. Although she always was a bit loopy... Hmm, maybe I should put an advertisement up for a new roommate.
Anyway, when I was standing around admiring the kitchen I realized that I TOTALLY FORGOT that it was Joey's birthday. I wasn't kidding when I said I haven't been paying much attention to my neighbors. Joey would never forgive me if I didn't show up. So, I guess the only other room you get to see today is the bathroom, because that's where I immediately went after I remembered I needed to head out to Joey's. A girl's gotta reset her pigtails if she wants to look good. Don't you think the bathroom's nice? I did that all myself. It's very classy, I'm sure.
The Bathroom I wasn't sure what to do about a present for Joey, but luckily, someone stocked up on gold-econo chairs lately. There were a bunch in the kitchen. Hopefully no one will notice that one's missing until I get a chance to replace it. I know Joey likes yellow furniture, so it's the perfect gift. Well, got to go a-partying now! (Gee, I hope he brings me something better than an econo-chair for my birthday.)
Joey's House Oh yeah. Want to write to me? Send an email to axawebsite@megadoomer.com. All mail with "Anjou" in the subject line gets forwarded to my tank.
For now, turtle out! |
