Advance Reviews for "A Diary of a DS-Addicted Turtle"

We hoped you liked the first two installments of "A Diary of a DS-Addicted Turtle." Anjou's Animal Crossing: Wild World diary will now begin to appear regularly after the release of the game. Her next diary entry is in the works, and we've shown a sample to a selected group of elite reviewers. They've sent us back their reactions, which we've posted here for your enjoyment.

The First Reviewer: O'Hare

Our first reviewer is O'Hare the Rabbit. O'Hare is an easy-going fellow who can be found wandering around warm beaches and sunny shores. We think he has a bit of a crush on Anjou, but we don't think that it influenced his opinion of her work at all...

The Second Reviewer: Rhoda

Next up is Rhoda, a particularly brightly-colored hen. Not only is she difficult on the eyes, but she's also very difficult to talk to. After many explanations and many rude remarks about the clothing we were wearing, we were finally able to squeeze some sort of opinion of Anjou's diaries out of her.

The Third Reviewer: Freckles

Admittedly, Freckles is a bit of a dingbat. When we got in touch with her about the advance copies of Anjou's diaries, she was calm at first, but then she progressively got angrier and angrier. We get the feeling that she's jealous that she didn't get a diary hosted on Animal Crossing Ahead, but then again, maybe Anjou just doesn't appeal to ducks with bad wigs.

The Fourth Reviewer: Queenie

Queenie just scared us. We'd take her opinion more seriously if Anjou actually spoke (she's a turtle, you know--can't make any sounds above a hiss or an occasional clicking noise) or if she wasn't using "kittycat" as a catchphrase. It's one thing to copy a "chic" animal's catchphrase, but Kiki's? Maybe it's daring for an ostrich. Who knows.

The Final Reviewer: Tom

Normally, we think Tom is cool in that bad-boy type of way, but we're reconsidering our opinion after what he had to say about Anjou. Maybe he was having a bad day when we stopped by to get his feedback...? Even if he was, we think that his reaction was a wee bit overblown.

...Coming Soon...

Anyway, you'll have a chance to judge Anjou for yourself. Stay tuned to Animal Crossing Ahead for Anjou's brand new Animal Crossing: Wild World diaries, coming very soon. Got questions about Anjou and her diaries? Send her a PM on the Animal Crossing Forums or send Jess an email for more information.
