Speedster's Diaries
After I finished rejoicing over my acceptance I reminded my self that I should check Tom Nook's store for any new items. On my way to the shop I ran into Tangy and Bill, neither of them had anything for me to do, although Bill traded me for a pear wardrobe, which I like very much. When I finally reached the store and went in I almost fainted, ANOTHER SHOVEL, no fishing pole or bug catching net for me I was on my own again with my shovel to keep myself company. When I finally gathered myself together I went to the lost and found and found nothing but an old oil drum. I thought to myself why does this day feel strangely similar to yesterday but I quickly shook that off and thought happy thoughts about what today could bring. But as I soon found out I was almost completely right. As I went around the village asking the villagers if they need anything done or wanted to chat I noticed that none of the villagers had asked me my birthday yet, along came Velma. She asked if I wanted a Gold econo chair for my birthday then quickly remembered that she didn't know when my birthday was so she asked. I told her my birthday was on July 3rd. She responded that she would send me the chair for my birthday. I almost cried I would have to wait so long to find out what a gold econo chair looked like. A thought then popped into my head why not send all of my fossils to the museum to be identified so that tomorrow I would have something to do, for example donate them to the museum or sell them to Nook. After sending all 8 letters I decided I should go for a walk on the beach. As I was heading down to the beach I noticed a new house. Another new villager had moved into my village his name was Bob. He was a purple bear who really didn't have eyes that were visible. He explained to me that he came from Gracian, another one of my villages. When I reached the beach I found a fresh new batch of shells ripe for selling, I also found a strange creature lying in the sand. I quickly awoke him and ordered he explain himself to me. He told me that his shipmates pushed him overboard and he washed up on shore unconscious. He then gave me a compass he had found in the ocean a while back. Since I was bored I decided to go to the Game boy Advance Island to introduce myself to the villager there. I went to the docks and a fellow who goes by the name of Kapp'n greeted me. He asked me where I was headed and I told him "To Tiki Island" of course. On the trip there he passed the time by singing a song about how he lacked a good night of sleep and that if any wrestlers were to challenge him he would give them two black eyes, I politely agreed, though I thought otherwise. When we arrived at the island I was greeted by soft island music and a yodeling gorilla named Yodel, ironic isn't it. He introduced himself to me while I toured the island. I found a separate hut that to my knowledge was specifically made for me to put my stuff in. I thought to myself this could be a valuable place to store stuff later on when I don't have enough room in my home. When all this had finished I returned to Shoeland and found that nothing had changed and none of the villagers had anything for me to do. Just as I was about to give up for the day I noticed another new house. The house was occupied by Pango the blue anteater. She seemed very nice and unlike the other villagers gave me a job to do; I was to return Apollo's watch to him. While chatting with her I also heard her mention a "special commerative gift that would be visible to all of the residents of the village" upon completion of fully upgrading my house. I thought that maybe there would be a memorial built in honor of my achievement, but probably not, it's nice to dream though. Hopefully tomorrow will bring more excitement in the way of catching some type of animal, whether it be bugs or fish only time will tell.
